Thermal Hand Health Treatment

In this treatment, the therapist will soak your hands prior to assessing the condition of the skin and nails. Treatment includes shaping, filing the nails, and addressing the nail cuticles. The therapist will attend to any skin problems you may have around the nails, such as broken or sore skin, and advise you on what to do. Use of oils, cream, exfoliation, and heat are used to improve the texture of skin and nails and to prevent getting poor nail and skin conditions.

The heated mittens work to open pores in the skin for better absorption of masks and creams leaving the hands soft and hydrated. The heat can help relieve pain in the hands of people that suffer from osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and other joint mobility issues due to increased blood circulation.

The treatment will finish with hand/arm massage techniques to stimulate blood and lymph flow.

Application of gel polish or nail varnish is optional (please advise what option you would like prior to booking).
