1. Treatment Booking and Payment

1.1 Treatment can only be undertaken with the formal written consent of the patient at the time of the consultation.

1.2 If the patient is a minor (under 18 years of age) parental consent as specified by law is required. Form 201101.

1.3 Payments for all treatments can be made by cash, cheques or credit/debit cards.

1.4 A deposit of £20.00 MUST be made within 48 hours from the pre-booking date. A booking is only confirmed when the deposit is made.

1.5 A cancellation or notification of a likely missed appointment, if NOT notified with a minimum of 24 hours will result on the loss of the deposit. However, if for any reason the transaction is declined the patient would be required to replace the sum immediately plus any charges or expenses incurred.

1.6 Whenever a deposit is used in a post-date, the patient will have to use the credit up to 90 days maximum. After 90 days, the deposit will be cancelled, and no refund will be made to the patient.

1.7 It will be understood that until the payment is re-established the patient cannot undergo any treatment.

1.8 Promotions, sales, special prices or discounts do not accumulate and may have specific terms and conditions.

 

2. Cancellations and Missed Appointments

2.1 A cancellation or notification of a likely missed appointment if notified with a minimum of 24 hours this will not normally incur a penalty.

2.2 Cancelled or missed appointments for blocks of treatments (multi, pre-paid treatments) will normally be treated as reducing that block by the appointment missed, unless conditions for cancellation or notification of a likely missed appointment are followed.

2.3 Any Block booking discount will be required to be recovered should the treatment be terminated midterm.

2.4 Any discounts or refunds are negotiated according to the circumstances and agreed with the consultant at the time of booking.

2.5 A booking made by a repeated patient requires a minimum of 24 hours in advance for cancellation. If a cancellation is made, out of these terms, the full fee of the booked treatment will be invoiced to the patient and titled as a ‘NO SHOW’. If the patient makes a cancellation within the T&C’s, without rebooking the treatment, a fee of £10.00 will be invoiced to the patient. If the patient makes a cancellation within the T&C’s and rebooks the treatment, no fee with be charged. It is reserved the right to Rainbow—Well-being Therapy Centre to only accept one (1) rebook after the first cancellation. All invoices will be raised and sent electronically to the most updated email address/postal address/SMS supplied to the centre.

2.6 It is reserved the right to Rainbow—Well-being Therapy Centre, to change this price list without pre-announcement.

3. Respect

3.1 Rainbow—Well-being Therapy Centre guarantees respect for the patient always.

3.2 We do desire from our patients that their behaviour towards us is reciprocated.

4. Treatment, Patient’s notes and accompaniers

4.1 Rainbow—Well-being Therapy Centre is Registered under the Data Protection Act 1998.

4.2 A copy of patient’s notes (1st consultation) is available for the patients (only their own) but is only produced if requested by the patients themselves.

4.3 No one else is allowed in the treatment room during the consultation or treatment itself.

Exceptions are made:

4.3.1 If the patient asks for someone else to be present;

4.3.2 If the patient is a minor under 18 years old of age;

4.3.3 If the patient has communication difficulties, such as a health condition or language barrier;

4.3.4 If the patient’s cultural background requires it.

4.3.5 Film or photography are not permitted, unless patient produces a written consent.
