Electroacupuncture

Electro-acupuncture is an additional treatment to acupuncture.

It uses the traditional acupuncture points but joins to it an electro-acupuncture machine. The machine gives continuous electric pulses to the acupuncture needles.

The practitioner regulates the frequency and intensity of the impulse according to the patient’s health and condition. The treatment can use stimulation simultaneously on two needles at time.

The treatments last for no more than 30 minutes at a time and it can be done using several pairs of needles.

On this treatment the practitioner does not manipulate the needles, therefore permits a constant frequency and intensity.
